      ShipTag Integration

This native integration with ShipTag enables order, catalog and inventory synchronization seamless.

      Version: v1.0
      Date: February 19, 2026
      Owner: Sales Channel Product Team

      1. Overview

      What this integration does

The ShipTag integration connects your ShipTag store with Omniful so that:

      • Orders created on ShipTag are automatically synced to Omniful for processing.
      • Inventory availability maintained in Omniful can be synced to ShipTag.
      • Shipments are created in ShipTag, which then syncs tracking details and shipment status updates back to Omniful.
      • You can configure hub mapping, order status mapping directly from Omniful.

This integration is Fulfillment+Shipping type, Omniful manages the fulfillment process (Pick, Pack, Ready to Ship, Cancel), and ShipTag manages the shipping process (Shipped, Delivered, Return to Origin, Shipment Cancelled).

      2. Prerequisites

      4. Omniful Configuration

Once the store is connected, configure how data flows between ShipTag and Omniful.

      4.1 Store-level settings

Depending on your requirements, you can enable:

      • Order Sync – Automatically fetch orders from ShipTag to Omniful.
      • Catalog Sync – Fetch catalog (active SKUs) from ShipTag into Omniful.
      • Inventory Sync – Push available inventory from Omniful hubs to ShipTag.

      4.2 Hub Mapping

Configure how ShipTag orders are routed to Omniful hubs:

      • Map Omniful Hubs to the hubs configured in ShipTag.

Note: Hub mapping is mandatory for Inventory and order sync.

      4.3 Order status mapping

Order Status Mapping defines how ShipTag statuses and Omniful statuses stay in sync:

      Sales Channel Mapping –
Map incoming ShipTag order statuses (e.g., NEW, SHIPPED) to internal Omniful order lifecycle stages (e.g., New, Ready for Picking).

Omniful Workspace Order Status Mapping –
Define which outgoing Omniful statuses should be updated on ShipTag (for example, when the order is shipped or canceled).

Note: Ensure ShipTag order statuses (such as Open, Unfulfilled) are configured correctly—otherwise new orders may not sync to Omniful. Likewise, if the cancelled status is not mapped, cancelled orders will not sync back to ShipTag.

      4.4 Configuration log

Use the Configuration Log to track changes to the store configurations.

      5. Data and Sync Behaviour

      5.1 Orders

      Hub-based orders sync

Only orders with the mapped hub will be visible in Omniful.

      Status-based sync

Only orders with the mapped order statuses will be visible in Omniful.

      5.2 Catalog

Seller’s ShipTag store Catalog (all SKUs with valid SKU Code) is fetched automatically to Omniful when Catalog Sync is enabled.

      5.3 Inventory

Omniful automatically pushes and maintains inventory level when Inventory Sync is enabled and hub mapping is done.

      5.4 Cancellations

Cancellations – When ‘Automated Order Cancellation On Sales Channel’ is enabled, canceling an order in Omniful triggers an automatic cancellation on ShipTag, keeping both systems aligned.

Similarly, if an order is cancelled in ShipTag, the cancellation status will be synced back to Omniful to ensure consistency between both systems.

      6. FAQs

Q: Why are some ShipTag orders not appearing in Omniful?
A: Please ensure that Order Sync is enabled. Only orders created on ShipTag with the correct order status mapping and the correct hub mapping will sync to Omniful. Orders that do not meet these mappings will not be created. Also verify, that the webhook URL at ShipTag, as exactly as mentioned below: https://prodapi.omniful.com/sales-channel/public/v1/shiptag/webhook

Q: Why are cancellations from Omniful not reflecting on ShipTag?
A: Enable Automated Order Cancellation on Sales Channel. Map Omniful’s Cancelled status to ShipTag’s Cancelled status.

Q: Who is the inventory master?
A: Omniful is the inventory master. When Inventory Sync is enabled, it pushes updated stock to ShipTag.

Q: Who creates shipments for ShipTag orders?
A: ShipTag manages shipment and delivery; statuses are updated in Omniful automatically.

Q: When does shipment information appear in Omniful?
A: When a shipment is created in ShipTag on reaching the READY_TO_SHIP status, the assigned tracking number, carrier, shipping label and shipping status are received to Omniful.

Q: What happens if I uninstall or disable the Omniful app?
A: New orders will stop syncing; shipment updates will no longer reach Omniful. Existing orders already in Omniful remain processable but will not sync back until the app is enable.

      7. Notes and Limitations

      • Returns are not supported at the moment.
      • Due to ShipTag’s limitations, Shipments are only received via webhook and cannot be fetched from Omniful.
      • All ShipTag orders are treated as Prepaid Orders in Omniful.
