Enable Price and Tax Edits at Packed Status

Summary

Omniful OMS now allows users to edit Unit Price, Tax Percentage, and Discount values even after an order reaches the Packed status—previously only possible until Ready to Pack.
This provides greater flexibility to correct pricing or tax discrepancies late in the fulfillment cycle.

Any updates made at this stage:

• Automatically recalculate the order total in real time.
• Adjust refundable amounts where applicable.
• Require payment reconfirmation to ensure financial accuracy.

All changes are transparently recorded in the Order Activity Logs, capturing both previous and updated values for audit and traceability.
This enhancement reduces operational friction, prevents unnecessary order cancellations, and ensures accurate billing without disrupting downstream fulfillment workflows.

How It Works

1. Navigate to Orders → Live Orders.
2. Filter orders by Packed status.
3. Open the desired order and click Edit.
4. Update Unit Price, Tax %, or Discount.
5. Review recalculated totals and Save Changes.
6. Confirm updated payment details under Order Logs.

Technical Details

• Applicable only for orders in or before Packed status.
• Order totals and refund values are recalculated in real time.
• Changes are logged in Order Activity Logs for audit.
