      Location Inventory Log Report

      Version: 1.0
      Owner: Omniful Product Team

      Objective / Benefit

To provide a comprehensive location-level audit trail of inventory transactions for hubs operating on location-based inventory tracking. This enhancement improves the existing Inventory Log Report by enabling faster discrepancy investigation and more accurate tracking of inventory movement across locations.

      Enhancements

      1. Expanded Action Coverage

New action types have been added to improve traceability of inventory operations:

      • Break SKU – When a pallet or case pack SKU is broken.
      • Lost – When inventory has been marked lost during picking or cycle count.
      • Inventory Upload – Initial one-time inventory upload performed for hubs.
      • Stock Ownership Transfer – When inventory is transferred between sellers within a hub.

      2. Action Reference Column

A new Action Reference column has been added immediately to the right of the Action column to provide clearer context for each transaction and help users interpret why an entry was logged.

      Examples:

      • Putaway → GRN
      • Putaway → Production Task / Assembly Task
      • Putaway → Cancelled Order Item
      • Putaway → Inventory Adjustment

      3. Action IDs

Action IDs have been added to applicable inventory actions to clearly identify and trace the source activity.

      4. Quantity Change Indicators

Plus (+) and minus (–) indicators are now displayed alongside quantity changes to clearly represent inventory increments and decrements.

      5. Initial and Final Location Type Visibility

Initial and final location type details are now included to provide better visibility into how inventory moves across different location types within a hub.

These enhancements collectively improve clarity, audit accuracy, and operational confidence when analyzing inventory transactions.
