      Multi-Seller Support in POS

Introduces explicit Multi-Seller Support and seller–hub mapping in the POS app, allowing each hub to operate under a single seller for scoped catalogs, pricing, and inventory.

      Version: v1.0
      Date: October 22, 2025
      Owner: Omniful Product Team

      Summary

This introduces explicit Multi-Seller Support and seller–hub mapping in the POS app. The tenant can now run multiple Sellers concurrently at different hubs. Each hub is configured to operate under a single seller, ensuring the catalog, pricing, and inventory presented to store staff are restricted to that seller. The mapping is a one-time configuration.

      How It Works

      1. Open the Dashboard and navigate to the Sellers section to see the list of all the sellers. (Optional)
      2. Go to Settings → POS Settings and select the target Hub to configure from the Hub dropdown.
      3. Choose the Seller that this Hub should operate under (e.g., Samsung, OLG).
      4. Click Save. The POS app will now show catalog data for the selected Seller for this Hub.
      5. Once set, this configuration cannot be changed or updated.

      Example navigation path:

      • Go to Settings → POS Settings → General
      • Select the Seller corresponding to the chosen Hub

      Technical Details

      • Multi-Seller support: Multiple Sellers can exist in the tenant, and different Hubs may map to different Sellers.
      • Single-Seller per Hub: Exactly one Seller can be assigned to a Hub at a time.
      • Hub-specific configuration: This option is visible only when a specific Hub is selected, not when “All” hubs are shown.
      • Catalog scoping: All product listing views are filtered by the Hub’s assigned Seller.
      • Immutability: Mapping is a one-time configuration at the Hub level. Edits may be restricted by role or permissions.

      Notes and Assumptions

      • Permissions and exact UI labels may vary by environment or role.
      • API references and event webhooks remain unchanged; only scope is enforced in the UI.
