      TMS Trips – UI Navigation Update

      The TMS Trips module now offers a unified trip creation screen and lifecycle-based tracking tabs, simplifying navigation and improving operational visibility.

      Summary

      The Trips module UI in TMS has been updated to reduce screen switching and simplify trip creation and tracking.

      • Unified trip creation: Leg-based (mile-based) trip creation flows are now consolidated into a single Unplanned Create Trips screen.
      • Lifecycle organization: Self-Operated and Third-Party Trips are organized into lifecycle-based tabs for consistent end-to-end tracking.

      How It Works

      1. Create Trips (Unplanned) is now a unified screen

      • All trip creation flows are available in a single view.
      • Use the Trip Type filter to switch between First Mile, Mid Mile, Last Mile, Hyperlocal, or Custom trip shipments.
      • The Table/Map toggle remains unchanged. Trips Revamp2.png

      2. Existing filters remain available

      Filters such as Current Hub, Sellers, Seller Hubs, Delivery Zones, and Date filters remain unchanged. Trips Revamp1.png

      3. Centralized trip actions

      • Actions like Create Manual Trip, Create Third Party Trip, Schedule Trip, Broadcast Request, and Add Packages to Trip are now accessible from the same screen.
      • Select required shipments and create trips; created trips become available for tracking in the Trips screen. Trips Revamp4.png

      4. Self trips are tracked by lifecycle tabs

      Self-operated trips are organized into three lifecycle tabs:

      • Pre-transit – includes statuses such as Assigned, Unassigned, Cancelled, and Accepted.
      • Live (Ongoing)
      • Completed Trips Revamp5.png

      5. Third party trips follow the same lifecycle structure

      • Outsourced or partner-managed trips are also grouped into Pre-transit, Live, and Completed tabs.
      • Use the Courier Partner filter to narrow results for a specific partner. Trips Revamp3.png

      Technical Details

      This release focuses on UI and navigation improvements within the TMS Trips module.
      Trip creation and tracking capabilities remain functionally consistent, with improved discoverability through filters and lifecycle grouping.
